Secret London: Revised

Some adjustments have been made to the colouring and contrast :)

I have also come across a way to add an old fashioned dotting effect to my work, so obviously I got really excited and just had to use it!

London: A Fairy Tale revised

Revised London : A Fairy Tale (Merzbox Project)

I wasn't happy with how dull the last piece turned out and I could not think of what to do, so I decided to scrap and start pretty much from scrap.  The text and woman are the same, but the background is completely different.

I was inspired y an old book of London maps that I happened across in a second hand book store and instantly fell in love with.

Any suggestions?

Hey, here is a revised version of my piece for the Aesop tale of the milk maid and her pail.  I thought the last one had way too much text and distracted from the actual image.  So I decided to thin it down and try to make it more pleasant to view.  thoughts?

The Princess

Here is a painting I produced as a commission for my little sister :) It is based on a black and white piece I produced last year ( with a few new tweaks!)

The Anecdotal Drama Teen

This is a design I produced for a book cover (which is now all published which is exciting!) It was rather difficult to hide how excitable I was when I was found sitting at the door to my flat watching the post box.  Hope you guys like!

The Fairy Tale of Happiness Book

Here are some pictures of my handmade book 'The Fairy Tale of Happiness' Based on the novel by Kurt Schwitters.

The book has been made from scratch by stitching, spray mounting and glue gunning it together.  This is the second version of my book as the first has been sent to London as an entry for the Macmillan Award.  This
version however has been created for my degree show which opens up next month.

I intend to carry on with its production after I have finished at university, but the book so far has a full covered colour and 5 coloured spreads, the rest being detailed pen drawings.

Pure enjoyment

This is just a random thing i did for the fun of it! It is based on the Aesop fable of the milk maid who spilt the milk because she was too busy thinking of what she would do with the money she could sell her wares for.  Don't count your chickens before they are hatched! May still put it in the degree show though... and thoughts or sugestions?
